A Nottinghamshire road has been closed in both directions, causing heavy traffic on Tuesday morning, July 18. According to travel monitoring website Inrix, Stapleford Lane is currently closed in both directions, in Newark-on-Trent.
Its closure is due to a traffic problem from Brough Lane to Newark Road. Inrix said: "Stapleford Lane in both directions closed, heavy traffic due to traffic problems from Brough Lane to Newark Road." Those travelling in the area should allow extra time for their journey, and find an alternative route. Google Maps shows heavy traffic on Stapleford Lane heading towards its junction with Newark Road, where the closure has been put in place.This is a live event. We will bring you updates below:
