BREAKING: GMP have issued a statement -
A residential street has been taped off by police who remain at the scene on Sunday morning after reports of a 'disturbance' at 3am.
A man, 38, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. He was taken into police custody, GMP confirmed.The area is said to be the subject of a 'specialist search'.The Manchester Evening News has contacted Greater Manchester Police for details as residents wake up to find the road closed.Images from the scene today showed two police officers stood guard as investigations continue.
