BREAKING: One arrested after man suffers 'life-changing injuries' and police investigate two crime scenes
Greater Manchester Police have just released a statement on the incident. A man has been arrested after another man suffered injuries believed to be life-changing which are consistent with a bladed article being used'Shortly before 8am this morning Greater Manchester Police were called to concerns for welfare of a man at Field Street, Failsworth.
Emergency services attended and a man in his 40s was taken to hospital with serious injuries to his wrist, consistent with a bladed article being used. His injuries are believed to be life changing, but not life threatening. A 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault. He remains in police custody for questioning.
An investigation is underway to understand the full circumstances and one scene remains in place at Mill View Court, Oldham.
