BREAKING: This just in
There is a huge police cordon in place on Woodhouse Street in Leeds this afternoon following local reports of a 'shooting'.
West Yorkshire Police are currently stationed at the edge of an area stretching from the junction with Quarry Street to the junction with Raglan Road. It is reported that the cordon covered a larger area up to the edge of Woodhouse Moor earlier this morning. Witnesses have reported that police were first seen in the area at around 8pm on Tuesday . A number of local business are within the span of the current cordon.At this time the nature of the incident is unknown but locals have reported that they believe a 'shooting' took place in the area sometime yesterday evening. West Yorkshire Police have been contacted byThe cordon on Woodhouse Street remains in place on Wednesday with officers stationed at all access points.
