LIVE: All traffic stopped on M60 with eight-mile queues after crash

Delays are building up to the incident

All traffic has been stopped on a stretch of the M60 this morning after a crash.

Traffic is being held on the anti-clockwise carriageway at junction nine for Trafford Park. There are currently eight-mile queues up to the closure. Long delays are building. A tweet posted by National Highways said: "The #M60 anti-clockwise within J9 , traffic has been temporarily STOPPED due to a collision."There is currently approx. 8 miles of congestion on approach, causing delays of 30 minutes above usual journey times."
