Linfield have explained the reasons behind wearing a unique kit for Saturday's Premiership clash against Coleraine.
The Blues played in red for the trip to the Ballycastle Road, and they will have to wear it again in an upcoming game against Newry City.Read more: 'It's relentless' - Ross Oliver opens up on pressure at Linfield Linfield said the red kit is being used because of a possible clash with the home colours of Coleraine and Newry City.Linfield explaimed: "Linfield will wear a red away shirt in today’s Premiership game in Coleraine, due to a possible clash between the blue and white in the club's existing home and away kits and the colours of the home club.
"The red shirt which is NOT being produced for sale in the Superstore, will also need to be worn in the Premiership game away to Newry."
