Jeremy Doku made his debut for Manchester City in their 5-1 win against Fulham on Saturday and the game also featured a lively cameo from Oscar Bobb.
Manchester City's stand-in boss Juanma Lillo said the club are expecting "big things" from Oscar Bobb after the winger made a lively cameo on his first appearance for the club.
Bobb has been the Academy Player of the Year for two successive seasons and after remaining at the club during the transfer window he has earned a promotion to the senior ranks. He came into the squad against Fulham with Jack Grealish out and saw fellow debutant Jeremy Doku start the game, but when his chance came Bobb made an impression.
"But we need to be calm, we need to give him his time and he has to be patient himself and give himself that time, but it’s another great player we’ve got that’s come from the academy and we expect big things." Lillo felt the lack of fluidity in City's play - despite the comfortable scoreline - didn't help Doku and expects there to be more to come from the Belgian winger.
