Locals can use the space for family activities, free Wi-Fi use and to curl up with a book in a warm space.
East Renfrewshire Culture and Leisure is encouraging locals to visit one of the area's ten libraries to enjoy festive singalongs, children and family activities, knitting, folkPeople can also use the free WiFi, and computers and, of course, 'find a good book and curl up in a cosy nook'.Anthony McReavy from ERCL said:"This winter, we're waiting to welcome people along to our libraries.
"You can, as always, discover the latest books on offer too or access a quiet space in one of our leisure centres."They will also offer warm welcome spaces for the public to access during opening hours. Ruth Gallagher, chief officer of Voluntary Action East Renfrewshire, added: “Thanks to the amazing collaboration across our third, public and independent sector partners, we’ve been able to gather initial information that begins to map out the spaces and places already used by our communities; spaces where we come together to socialise, learn new skills, participate in hobby activities and access support services.
