Liam Smith and Chris Eubank Jr were set for a rematch in June but now it will be delayed
, who tweeted: “Liam Smith suffered an injury while training and his June 17 rematch with Chris Eubank Jr. has been postponed, sources tell ESPN.to become the first fighter to stop Eubank Jr in his 35-fight career.Eubank Jr had a rematch clause in place and after failing to re-schedule a bout with Conor Benn, he decided to take on Smith once again.: “I’m pleased it’s finally over the line now.

As for what Smith can take from their first clash, he said: “I’m going to be brutally [honest], he didn’t do nothing I didn’t expect. “I just know now that I can hurt him to the head which not many people thought. I was basically told I couldn’t do [that]. I know I can hurt him to the body, and I know I can hurt him to the head now too.
“I don’t need to change nothing, everything I did in the last camp worked.
