The 24-year-old has signed for Hull City on loan for the rest of the season
The 24-year-old has joined the Tigers on a season long loan deal, after an injury-hit first season at Burnley. While Vincent Kompany's side had an incredible season as a team - winning the Championship title - Twine was limited to just 18 appearances, in which he scored three goals.
"It's funny because everyone speaks about our style of play: playing out from the back. There's a lot of things that go into it and our style is very similar to Burnley's. And I know Burnley see Scott as a massive asset to them; it's just that Scott needs games this season. He needs a run of games, which he didn't quite get last season.
Twine's debut for Hull has the potential to be the perfect one, as a player on loan from Burnley. The Tigers head to Blackburn Rovers on Saturday afternoon. The Clarets won the Championship at their arch rivals last campaign and Twine will be targeting more success at Ewood Park.
