Lewis Hamilton labels teammate George Russell 'really dangerous' as pair collide F1

The pair of Brits collided in the second period of qualifying, with Hamilton losing bodywork as he was forced onto the grass.Russell then moved across at the last secondViewers were stunned to see the Silver Arrows come to blows, and Hamilton was just as surprised. The seven-time world champion did have damage, in fact, with a piece of his front wing flying into the air.

Russell, though, spotted a Ferrari ahead, and began moving over, seemingly unaware the no.44 of Hamilton was fast approaching. “You didn’t tell me there was a car behind,” he said. “I’m sorry guys, I don't know what happened in this session.” Russell eventually failed to make it out of the session, qualifying 12th with only Hamilton going through to Q3.
