Lewis Capaldi has announced that he will stop touring “for the foreseeable future” as he is “still learning to adjust to the impact of my Tourette’s”
Capaldi first revealed he had been diagnosed with Tourette’s in September last year and has been open about the impact his worsening symptoms have had on his ability to perform onstage.
Earlier this month he cancelled a number of commitments in the lead up to his performance at Glastonbury Festival. During his performance on the festival’s Pyramid Stage on Saturday he struggled with tics and in an emotional moment was helped by the crowd to finish his set after losing his voice.
