The defender is on the Ibrox fringes and could make his way out of the club before the window shuts.
Rangers are reportedly set to let Leon King leave on loan with several clubs in the EFL keen on taking him before the deadline.
The teenage stopper is highly-rated by Michael Beale and the Rangers hierarchy but has found minutes hard to come by since returning from an injury earlier this season. Connor Goldson and John Souttar have established themselves as the first-choice pairing while Ben Davies and the returning Leon Balogun are ahead of him in the pecking order.
And now The Herald say Gers are open to loaning King out ahead of Friday's deadline with a view to getting him playing regular football this season. Continuing his development takes priority to having an extra central defensive option available and it's believed several clubs in the Championship and League One down south are keen on signing him on a season-long loan deal. King is viewed as having a big future at Ibrox and it's unclear if any exit would include an option to buy.
