Football Insider has learned that Leicester City are open to allowing striker Patson Daka to leave the club in the final days of the summer window.
The Foxes’ position is also strengthened by the fact that Daka has three more years to run on his contract at the King Power Stadium.
He has not featured for Enzo Maresca’s side this term and has been absent from the matchday squad in recent games against Huddersfield and Cardiff. It is believed the Zambia international doesn’t see himself playing in the Championship following relegation from the English top-flight last season. The forward managed just four goals and four assists across 36 games in all competitions last season. He is not the only in-demand Leicester striker ahead of transfer deadline day on 1 September.Leicester sit second in the Championship having picked up seven points from their opening three games.
