Leeds United host Plymouth Argyle at Elland Road in the Championship on Saturday and the visitors may go toe to toe with the hosts based on Finn Azaz's comments
Toe-to-toe encounters with the Championship’s best sides will stand Plymouth Argyle in good stead for their visit to Leeds United this weekend, according to midfielder Finn Azaz. The Pilgrims head to Elland Road off the back of one win in their last seven matches, but have pushed some of the second tier’s best close when they have faced them.
West Bromwich Albion were also held to a 0-0 draw at The Hawthorns last month by Stephen Schumacher’s side. Azaz, on loan from Aston Villa, feels his side have confidence and belief in their manager’s directions they will be excited for Elland Road rather than nervous.“Middlesbrough will be one of the top teams in the Championship and we have shown we can go toe to toe with them,” he told PlymouthLive. “We went toe to toe with Ipswich last week.
