Leeds United loanee Joe Gelhardt has been given his full debut by Sunderland manager Tony Mowbray as the Black Cats travel down to London to face Millwall at The Den this afternoon.
However, following an injury to top goalscorer Ross Stewart against Fulham in their F.A fourth round, Gelhardt is left as the club's only out-and-out striker after they failed to find a quick deal in the last days of the transfer window.
