Leeds United were expecting to say goodbye to more players on deadline day
Leeds United's transfer deadline day was dominated by the will he or won't he saga surrounding Luis Sinisterra and his proposed exit to Bournemouth. The Colombian had been wanted by the Cherries for a number of weeks, but heading into the final hours of the transfer window it appeared Leeds would get their wish by holding onto the attacking player.
Amid all the talk surrounding Sinisterra, attention was diverted away from another deal that Leeds were braced to happen, but never materialised. It's now become public knowledge that Leeds were happy to let Darko Gyabi head out on loan on transfer deadline day, with no doubt some frustration that deal didn't get done.
