Football Insider has learned that Leeds United are still planning to sell Illan Meslier before the 1 September transfer deadline.

Leeds are ready to add a central midfielder, left-back and striker in their next wave of summer transfer business.

Daniel Farke’s side have already wrapped up deals for Joe Rodon, Ethan Ampadu, Karl Darlow and Sam Byram since relegation from the Premier League in May. France Under-21 international Meslier is yet to keep a clean sheet for winless Leeds in the Championship this season. The shot-stopper was a regular starter for Leeds in the Premier League last term but was dropped for Joel Robles by Sam Allardyce in the final four games of the season.

He has racked up 126 appearances during his time at Elland Road, conceding 212 goals and keeping just 30 clean sheets.
