The 19-year-old boy was attacked by a group of men
His name has been confirmed by West Yorkshire Police as being Emmanuel Nyabako. In the early hours of August 26, witnesses saw the teenager being attacked by a gang of three or four men on Francis Street, Chapeltown.
Sadly, he later died in hospital. A 32-year-old man, Philip Bryant, was charged with the murder yesterday.According to West Yorkshire Police, enquiries are still underway and they are attempting to find "further people of interest." Detective Chief Inspector Damian Roebuck, of the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team, said: "Our investigation into this man’s tragic death has identified further people of interest and we have a range of enquiries currently ongoing to locate these people.
"We are also continuing to appeal for witnesses to the incident in Francis Street, or anyone with footage that may assist our enquiries to contact our investigation team."
