Schools in Hunslett Carr and Rothwell are understood to have received the email
Worried parents have been sent emails informing them that a number of Leeds schools have been put into a "soft" lockdown amid a "credible threat".
It is unclear what this threat is at this time, but some parents have been told their children's school has entered a "soft invacuation", which means pupils will be kept inside all day. Gates, doors and windows have also been closed. So far, schools in Hunslett Carr and Rothwell have received the warning, although many others could be impacted as well.understands schools that have warned parents they are on lockdown include Sharp Lane Primary in Hunslet Carr and Windmill Primary in Belle Isle.
