The Ashfield MP uploaded a video to social media
Controversial Nottinghamshire MP Lee Anderson has called for council action over a part of his constituency nicknamed "mucky alley". Donning a pair of shades and a suit jacket, the Ashfield MP pretended to check for a local councillor behind a discarded mattress in a video uploaded to social media.
"I'm here back on mucky alley, look at the state of this here," says Mr Anderson at the start of the video on X - the site formerly known as Twitter. "The good news is we've got a sale on today, if you want a fridge there's a fridge freezer here, I don't know what's in it."Continuing to look through the items he adds: "We've got gas bottles, another fridge freezer and a tele there. I think that's widescreen so come on down if you want this.
