Ferrari had been hoping for a good weekend in front of their home supporters in Monza with the Tifosi in fine form as they got behind the Italian team.
Sainz was leading the way after the first Q3 runs, before Leclerc and Verstappen moved to the top of the scoreboard. Ferrari's supporters went wild after pipping the Red Bull star to the post, even booing Verstappen during his post-race interview.
