Leah Croucher, 19, disappeared on her way to work in Milton Keynes on 15 February, 2019.
A funeral has been held for Leah Croucher, with a procession through her home city taking place to allow members of the public to pay their respects.
Detectives launched a murder investigation after Ms Croucher's rucksack and other belongings were found at the house, naming sex offender Neil Maxwell as theOn Friday, roads were closed for her funeral procession, which was followed by a private service for friends and family at Crownhill Crematorium.
The horse-drawn hearse was draped in flags bearing the crest of Hogwarts house Gryffindor from the Harry Potter franchise. Some friends and family were also wearing red and gold scarves.Ms Croucher's parents, John and Claire, had previously said the procession would be an opportunity for people to say their"very own private 'goodbye' to Leah as she goes on her final journey".
"As a family, this has brought us a large amount of comfort," they said."The time has come to finally lay our beautiful Leah to rest."Members of the public lined the streets to pay their respects
