A serving Lancashire police officer has been charged with attempted murder
– was charged after police were called to a report of a concern for the welfare of a woman at a Manchester hotel at approximately 11.30pm on Thursday 10 November.
Emergency services attended and the woman was taken to hospital, where she remains in a stable condition. 27-year-old Riley has been remanded in custody and will appear at Manchester Magistrates Court tomorrow .spokesperson confirmed Riley has been suspended from duty, and that the matter has been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct. or by calling 101 quoting log number 3661 of 10/11/22.Read more
