While the yellow weather warning misses our region, more heavy rain is forecast in Lancashire on Tuesday
Lancashire is bracing itself for more torrential weather during half term after Storm Babet brought heavy rain to the region.
While the weather alert misses our region, with the area bordering Hubden Bridge and covering parts of Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, heavy showers are forecast in Lancashire tomorrow. Downpours are expected from the early hours following a largely dry and cloudy day today .
Temperatures will only reach highs of 11C on Tuesday and the cooler weather will continue into Wednesday with mix of cloudy and dry weather forecast. Some light rain is expected to return on Thursday and Friday before a largely dry weekend, with some showers possible.
