A Lanarkshire charity shop gearing up to host its first-ever antiques fayre has a star attraction for sale – a 111-year-old concert programme signed by a virtuoso pianist who went on to become prime minister of Poland.

They also include a vintage Lincoln Bennett top hat carrying a royal warrant from King George V, the father of the late Queen Elizabeth; and an ornate illustrated family Bible dating back to the 1800s.
