'The wearing of surgical gloves suggests something sinister (was to happen)'
Kieran Currie attacked Sean Woods, 37 in the street in Coatbridge on May 8 2022.The 31 year-old on Monday admitted assaulting Mr Woods to severe injury, permanent disfigurement and to the danger of his life.Lord Colbeck jailed him again sentencing him to three years and nine months at the High Court in Glasgow.
She added:"In the lead up to the incident, they had been involved in exchanging acrimonious messages over social media."After the victim left his family home, he approached Currie, who soon started attacking him.The victim's pensioner mum went out and tried to push Currie away.Another neighbour described the incident as"very one sided" with Mr Woods unable to defend himself.Currie was held by police later that day.
