Food is off the menu at a Nottingham city centre bar after leaks forced the kitchen to close. Equipment was damaged by the water at upmarket London-style venue Six Richmond House.
The first leak occurred at the end of May, leaving both the kitchen and bar under several centimetres of water. After a clean-up operation it was able to reopen in time for the weekend but opening hours were amended.Disaster struck again with a second leak just three weeks later on June 16, when rain poured in from the ceiling, forcing the venue to close. Six Richmond House reopened at the end of June.
Some diners, turning up expecting to eat were disappointed to find out food wasn't available. One said: "I was really looking forward to trying the small plates after having brunch previously at Six Richmond House.
