The Sussexes will not be welcomed back into 'the Firm' if they wish to be 'part-time royals' as their previous request to have a 'half in, half out' role was firmly rejected by the late Queen Elizabeth.
Prince Harry won't be accepted back into his family as a "part-time royal" by King Charles or Prince William according to a royal expert.
According to royal author Tom Quinn, the monarch and Harry's brother William, who is the heir to the throne, will also not stand for a "part-time" effort from Harry and Meghan, the Mirror reports. In just a few weeks time, Harry will be back in the UK to attend a charity awards ceremony and will be in the country at the same time as Charles and William.Insiders confirmed neither the King nor the Prince of Wales have made plans to reach out to Harry and he also has 'no intention' of visiting them on his whistle-stop stay, which will see him make an appearance at the WellChild Awards on the eve of the first anniversary of the late Queen's death.
The last time Harry was seen in the same room as Charles and William was at the King's Coronation on May 6, which is believed to also be the first and only time he has seen them in person this year, since the release of the Duke's bombshell memoir Spare in January. This also took place before the release of the couple's controversial Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan in December last year, which saw the couple make a number of shocking accusations against the royal family.
Sources claim there are no plans for a public event or big get-together to mark the Queen's first anniversary of her death although members of the Royal Family are set to go to Balmoral for their summer holidays.
