Charles has become King and is expected to deliver a televised address
in honour of his beloved mother, Queen Elizabeth II, who died at the age of 96 on Thursday.
He will meet the Prime Minister, confirm funeral plans, and tour the UK with his wife, Camilla, who is now the Queen Consort and has the title of Queen, in the coming days. It was announced on Thursday evening that Her Majesty - the longest reigning monarch in British history – had died at the age of 96.
