The Ayrshire side host the Viaplay Cup champions on Sunday.
Derek McInnes reckons his players have the belief to cause a shock and knock holders Celtic out the cup.
He said: “I think so [they have the belief]. I think the result against Rangers helped and I thought we played that game with real belief and certainty with our work. “They were doing so well in the game in certain spells and, all of a sudden, just a moment can change the dynamic of the game because they have the ability to go and punish you.
“A lot was made of our away record last season and rightly so, but I thought last week’s performance at Tynecastle flew in the face of that. It was brilliant.
