Kilmarnock cruised to a 2-0 win over Aberdeen, with goals from Kyle Vassell and Marley Watkins. Derek McInnes' men dominated the match, while Aberdeen struggled to find their rhythm. Kilmarnock's Matty Kennedy and David Watson also had chances, but were unable to convert. The victory was well-deserved for Kilmarnock, who showcased strong defensive play and clinical finishing.

Derek McInnes’ men put his former employers to the sword with a fine 2-0 win.McInnes was forced into a change this morning as Corrie Ndaba reported a problem with his Achilles – he was replaced in the starting XI by Matty Kennedy.

Young David Watson had a great chance as Marley Watkins squared it to him but his close range effort was blocked over for a corner. But just as Kevin Clancy was set to whistle for the break, Vassell did well as he cut inside and fired a powerful strike into the bottom corner to give the hosts a well-deserved lead.

Armstrong almost turned goal scorer twice just after the hour mark as he curled an effort on to the crossbar before Roos saved a shot from him at the back post.
