Killing Eve and Game of Thrones actors star in exclusive first trailer for new Channel 4 drama
The three are connected by the murder of Ela Roberts which happened 18 years earlier, a crime which Joe confessed to without revealing where he left the body.As he’s granted parole, old memories are dredged up for Sharon , Ela’s mother, and Cat , a journalist who returns to her hometown once she hears of Joe’s release.
For her, it’s a chance to write the true events of what happened all those years ago, whilst Sharon is given another opportunity to confront the man who took everything away from her. With so many questions remaining unanswered, Joe’s return to the community could be a way to get to the bottom of the mystery once and for all, potentially revealing why he committed the act and where he hid the body.
