Letby will die behind bars for her horrific crimes and each stage of her time behind bars is planned out.
Serial killer nurse Lucy Letby will spend the rest of her life in prison with each stage already mapped out years in advance.
Letby is only expected to be integrated with her fellow inmates after some time, and she’ll be on suicide watch for months, reported the Mirror. Speaking to the Telegraph, Professor Yvonne Jewkes, professor of criminology at the University of Bath, said: “She’ll associate mostly with prison officers, her key worker in the prison, and one or two cleaners, but much of that interaction will be through the hatch in her cell door.”
Letby, who studied nursing at the University of Chester, could have the opportunity to pursue further qualifications through the Open University. Chartered security professional James Bore, the director of family consultancy Bores, said it’s “unlikely at best” that Letby will take up a job behind bars.
