A man armed with a knife threatened staff at a KFC restaurant this afternoon
Police received reports that at around 1.45pm today, a man entered the Carryduff branch with a knife and demanded money from staff.Read more: Body recovered from River Lagan after reports of man and woman in the waterDetective Sergeant Cargin said: “Police received a report at 1.45pm that a man had entered the premises, armed with a knife, and demanded money from staff. He left the scene in the direction of the Saintfield Road, towards Purdysburn and was detained by officers.
