Rishi Sunak is facing PMQs after his government’s rocky start continued. The prime minister saw the first resignation from his cabinet last night, just 14 days after assuming office.
Sir Keir added that Mr Williamson had made a reputation ‘blurring the line of normalised bullying behaviour’ and said that style was ‘exactly the reason the prime minister gave him a job’.
‘I believe that people in public life should treat others with consideration and respect, and those are the principles that this government will stand by.’ It’s the third time Mr Williamson has been forced to leave government amid accusations of improper conduct or criticism of his performance as a minister.
