Roy Keane and Rio Ferdinand have both expressed their sympathy for Rasmus Hojlund following his injury and lack of support in the forward line at Manchester United.

Roy Keane and Rio Ferdinand have both claimed they feel sorry for Rasmus Hojlund following his summer transfer to Manchester United.

Having made his first appearance for the Reds at the beginning of September, the Dane has since scored three Champions League goals but is still awaiting his first in the Premier League. Prior to the Manchester derby, Keane told Sky Sports he felt sorry for Hojlund due to his injury woes.He said: "You do feel sorry for Hojlund because you always worry when a player comes to your club off the back of an injury and never gets up to speed and takes him a few months.

Prior to the Galatasaray defeat in the Champions League, Ferdinand also claimed he felt sorry for Hojlund but for a different reason. His concern was based on his lack of support in the forward line.
