Katie Price has opened up about her mental health struggles revealing that she attempted suicide during a period of severe depression.
The 44-year-old former glamour model shared her overwhelming ordeal in an emotional Channel 4 documentary, Katie Price: Trauma and Me, which aired on World Mental Health Day on Monday night.
Katie said that she entered The Priory rehab clinic to treat her post-traumatic stress disorder and that therapy has helped her to deal with her past and learn what triggers her. Katie’s heartbroken mum added: ‘Katie asked why she was still alive, so I’m not sure if she was attempting suicide. It was a cry for help. As a mum it’s devastating, you never want to see your child go through this.’Elsewhere, Katie talked about her drink-driving accident in September 2021, which saw her flip her uninsured BMW X5 near her country home in West Sussex.
