Kate Middleton has been described as 'tougher' than she lets on, with one royal expert claiming she is playing the 'long game'. Valentine Low recently revealed that the Princess of Wales was 'a lot more steely' behind the scenes, despite appearing quite demure and quiet in public.
In the bombshell interview, the former Suits actress revealed that she had previously had suicidal thoughts during her brief time as a royal. Throughout the chat, Harry also implied that his family members had become jealous of his wife after they realised how popular she was on the couple's first tour to Australia.
Buckingham Palace decided to wait until the interview had aired in the UK to issue a response to the claims, and now, Low claims n a new chapter for the paperback edition of his book “Courtiers” that the royal family were split on how to respond. He also claimed that Jean-Christophe Gray, Prince William’s newly appointed private secretary, came up with the memorable line “recollections may vary” in the statement, implying that the Palace disagreed about what had happened.
