Today’s action in London is part of a fortnight of planned protests lasting until December 14, with the protesters demanding that the UK government stops allowing new oil and gas developments to take place. Activists holding banners walked slowly along Shepherd’s Bush Green in west London at around 8am today and also blocked traffic in Aldwych, central London.
