The winger has been forced to put his career on hold after a nightmare move to Al-Ittihad.
Forgotten Jota has reportedly been denied his release by Al-Ittihad with the Saudi champions STILL considering giving the Celtic hero a second chance.
Ittihad are only rules only allowed eight foreign players in their squad the winger is the odd man out and will only be available in cup competitions - meaning boss Nuno Espirito Santo can only play him in the AFC Champions League and Club World Cup games. Reports had suggested Jota was looking to terminate his contract with Tottenham said to be interested in a January move.
It is claimed they hope to "benefit" from Jota in tournament football after he returned to training following an injury layoff. However, pundits in the Middle East remain fair from convinced on the move.
