Experienced defender says the next crop of talent is in safe hands
It has been something of a baptism of fire for the next crop of international talent with only two wins from seven Euro qualifying games to date as they helped fill the void left by several experienced absentees.
"This is a great place for them all to come. Your club career will maybe go up and down as well, this is a real safe place for them, hopefully Michael is here for a long time, like he was for me at the start of my career."The fans will always be there and support them too, so it's a great place to come and play."
However, Evans believes they can get something against the current Group H leaders at Windsor Park tonight."I don't think we're too far away. When you get a win, no matter in what sport or at what level, it raises morale and we've definitely felt it this week.
