Another deleted tweet read: "Sometimes I feel like I have deja vu, everyone's going to be the guy to kick my a**.Jones won the vacant UFC heavyweight title against Gane in March this year after forcing him to submit in the first round. It was the 36-year-old's first time fighting in the weight division but he made it look like he had been used to taking on heavyweights his whole career.
The New York-born star is often regarded as one of, if not, the best MMA fighters of all time and became the youngest champion in UFC history when he beat Mauricio Rua aged 23 in 2011. And 12 years on, Jones is still making mincemeat of fighters and is unbeaten in his last 19 clashes, becoming a two-time UFC light-heavyweight champion in the process.
