John Brown is demanding answers on how a half-ton cycle shed was allowed to stand, unsecured, in school playground.

How many schools have simply dumped unused equipment on grounds and left it for pupils to play with? He said: “She’s the loveliest wee girl, full of fun with a cheeky sense of humour. To think we could have lost her needlessly is something that can’t be allowed to be swept under the carpet.
“Paramedics said they had to look at what had pinned her down and estimated it to be half a ton, at least, in weight. They said she needed a neck brace immediately.
