Runners are being warned to wear protection after a buzzard sank its talons into a man's head, leaving him covered in blood. Ewan Cameron was out for a jog in on Sunday when he felt like he had been 'punched' by the bird of prey.
Ewan was left with a bleeding head following the incident
He added: 'I can't quite believe the amount of people who have said they have had similar situations. 'If I want to get out and do a long run, this route is my only real option. It's just one of these things. Paul Reynolds, from the New Arc Wildlife Centre in Aberdeenshire, said attacks like these are not common.
