The man was threatened by a woman and assaulted by a man after telling the dog owners to keep their pet under control.
A jogger was verbally abused and assaulted after being chased by a dog that attempted to bite him. Police are hunting a man and a woman in connection with the incident.
In response to this, a woman is said to have threatened the jogger and been verbally abusive towards him. Shortly afterwards, he was approached by a man who made threats of violence before attacking him. They have released images of the pair and have urged them, or anyone who recognises them, to come forward.
