Reds boss felt his side should have had a penalty in narrow defeat to Linfield
Jim Magilton was full of praise for his Cliftonville players in the narrow defeat to Linfield on Friday night, but he was less than enamoured with the performance by the officials on the night. The ever-alert Ben Wilson nicked the ball off Chris Johns in the box but his attempted cross back into the danger area looked to hit the hand of Blues defender Euan East.
Referee Shane Andrews was unmoved however leaving Magilton less than happy with the decision at the end. "It was a handball. Regardless of what they put up as a defence for not giving it, it has hit his hand and it is a goal scoring opportunity.
