Former child star Marc Gilpin, who starred as Sean Brody in the Jaws sequel, Jaws 2, has died aged 56.

His sister, Frasier actress Peri Gilpin, announced the tragic news, saying her brother passed away on Saturday, 29 July – according to the Hollywood Reporter.Marc played the younger son of Roy Scheider's police chief Martin Brody in the 1978 film.A year later he guest-starred in TV series CHiPS and also appeared on Fantasy Island.
