Craig Crouch was ordered to serve at least 28 years in prison for the murder of 10-month-old Jacob.

"The Law Officers have 28 days from sentencing to consider the case and make a decision," they added.Craig Crouch was convicted of murder while co-accused Gemma Barton was acquitted of murder but found guilty of causing or allowing the death of a child He had sustained at least 39 fractures of the ribs, with 22 of these occurring in the week of his death, the court was told.
Crouch, 39, was jailed for life, with a minimum term of 28 years, for murder and three counts of child cruelty.
