ITV1's Yorkshire Ripper drama is mostly being well received on its first episode
ITV1's Peter Sutcliffe drama The Long Shadow has won acclaim from audiences and critics alike already for its authentic portrayal of a community gripped by fear as the 'Yorkshire Ripper' preyed on young female victims.
Given the subject matter, The Long Shadow starts off set in 1975 Yorkshire, including areas in Leeds where Sutcliffe first struck. @K_for)K4r3n said: "I don't want to be one of those ppl, but it's 1975 in #TheLongShadow & they're playing Tina Charles' 'I Love to Love' which wasn't released until January 1976.
